In 2014, Stefan and Chanthol planted the first cacao trees in Cambodia's history, near the Bu Sra waterfall in Mondulkiri. Nobody had grown cacao in the country before. There was no playbook, no local expertise, no guarantee the trees would take.
Today the estate spans 100+ hectares including partner farmers, growing Trinitario and Forastero across 19 sub-varietals, fully machine-graded, lab-tested, and shipped direct from the farm to chocolate makers worldwide.
The first cacao trees ever planted in Cambodia go into volcanic soil near the Bu Sra waterfall, Mondulkiri.
